University Pathway Programmes

MLS International College offers a superb range of pathways to University study in the UK for students at different academic levels and with English language levels at 4.5 IELTS and above.

MLS is one of the few private English Language Centres in the UK to be directly accredited to run not only Foundation courses but also year one and year two of degree level programmes as well as Pre Masters preparation. Our accreditation is varied including with the UK government recognised awarding agency EdExcel, who offer internationally recognised qualifications and who are widely known throughout the UK University sector.  Our two year HND programme allows students to directly join the third year of a variety of UK Universities.

Our own Foundation course has been running since 1989 making this one of the most established programmes of its type in the UK. The Foundation programme is directly recognised by our core group of partner Universities as detailed below but also by broad reputation amongst the University sector.

Programmes are delivered by a blend of subject specialism and British Council accredited language teaching to support your learning.

Extended pathways

In addition to the standard programmes described here, MLS provides Extended pathways on each of the programmes, enabling students to extend their course to include additional modules in English language, before embarking on the fully assessed element of the course.  The extended programme routes are an excellent opportunity for students who have met entry criteria to settle into their studies and life in the UK, whilst improving their language competence. The extended programmes are available for entry up to a maximum of 12 weeks prior to the main assessed term start dates.
