MLS International College is a leading General and Specialist English language training provider, accredited by the British Council and operating under Education Oversight measures with the Independent Schools Inspectorate. Based in the centre of Bournemouth, the College welcomes over 1000 international students each year, including private individual, corporate and government sponsored trainees.
We now have a rare opportunity for three suitably experienced and qualified individuals to join our full time, permanent team of core team teacher. Positions available from June 2013.
Positions 1 and 2 – Core Team
Alongside the provision of high quality teaching, the role of core team teacher at MLS includes the administration and management of courses, students and teaching staff and a requirement for EFL/ESP materials development and product progression.
Position 3 – Core Team Teacher Trainer / Course developer
Alongside the general core team duties the role includes

teacher training and support to all MLS teachers
-
provision of teacher training to MLS students attending MLS teacher training courses.

development of English language and English for special purposes programmes as required by the Company – both in college and online.

assistance in the management of MLS programmes delivered overseas
Compensation
The roles are offered with a salary of circa £24,000 per annum and 25 leave days plus public holidays.
Minimum qualifications
Degree + DELTA/Dip TESOL or equivalent. Experience of teaching team leadership and materials development, along with higher level administration skills would be an advantage.
The successful candidates will be provided with full induction and will join an experienced and supportive team.

MLS International College is a specialist English language training centre, located in the heart of Bournemouth. In 2012 we welcomed in excess of 1200 adult students from over 50 different countries and we continue to grow within our key markets of Academic English and English for Special Purposes.
The college now requires the following personnel to assist in the ongoing development of the organisation.

Teachers of Business English – including content based training in management, law, finance and/or marketing. Degree level or professional background required in content areas. Teaching at QCF levels 3, 4 and 5. Part time and variable hours available. Minimum CELTA equivalent qualification.Successful applicants will join an experienced team of EFL professionals providing EFL, ESP and pre- University training to our predominantly adult student population. Positions available immediately.

Teachers of General English - Native speakers of English with minimum CELTA + Degree qualifications. DELTA equivalent preferred. Part time and variable hours available. All international students, for whom English is a second language, and who are living in an unfamiliar culture, may at times be exposed to situations where they are vulnerable. All staff have induction training which includes child protection policies and procedures. Our staff are aware of possible signs and symptoms of people at risk and are provided with guidance on this.
